Falun Gong Practitioners Have Become Even More Steadfast in Their Faith and Even More Compassionate Towards Sentient Beings

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners have already gone through ten years in their efforts to resist the persecution and clarify the truth about Falun Gong. When Jiang Zemin's followers and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) initially started the persecution ten years ago, they said that they would "eliminate Falun Gong in three months." However, ten years have now passed and Falun Gong practitioners have steadfastly walked their paths to this day, whereas the CCP is on the brink of being disintegrated. Falun Gong practitioners have gone through these ten years by relying on their firm faith, their clarifying the facts to people, as well as their compassion in offering people salvation. Even though ten years have passed, Falun Gong practitioners' sincerity toward their faith is still the same as when they first attained Dafa. They will, with their even more compassionate minds, bring the truth to even more sentient beings, especially the precious Chinese people.

Throughout these past ten years, although what Falun Gong practitioners have done in resisting the persecution and clarifying the facts seem very similar to ordinary people's struggle for human rights and resistance to a tyrannical regime, they have a completely different purpose and goal. Falun Gong practitioners are cultivators, and what they have thought and done are beyond ordinary peoples' realms. They practice their belief of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, purify their minds, and offer sentient beings salvation while opposing the persecution and clarifying the facts. They have not taken this persecution as being one of man against man. What has supported them is not ordinary people's combative mentality or sense of right or wrong, but their faith in, and practice of, Falun Dafa. Falun Dafa is the spiritual force that has enabled them to walk steadfastly to this day, as well as the source of their power that has enabled them to persevere during these ten years.

Two thousand years ago, when Jesus was nailed to a cross, there were those who mocked him, saying that if he was God's son, why couldn't he come down from the cross? Ordinary people's persecution and ridicule did not shake the faith of Jesus' followers; they spread Jesus' teachings all over the world. Today, when Falun Gong has been persecuted and slandered by an even more evil regime, there are also those who said that if your Master is so great, why doesn't he end this persecution and do such and such? Ordinary people's asking this question is, in fact, the same as their using their human mentalities to judge Buddhas' or gods' actions and motives when they save people. When gods or Buddhas save people, they cannot show people their divine powers and let people know that they are all-powerful; otherwise, people's changing themselves would not be out of their inner longing for compassion, but the result of external pressure or their wanting to jump on the bandwagon. It is amidst the illusion of human society and under the persecution and slander that one can be tested to determine whether one is able to recognize the truth and be worthy of salvation.

Of course, the Communist regime's ten-year violent persecution and slanderous campaign of propaganda against Falun Gong has deceived people severely, which has been a huge hurdle to letting people know the truth; so this persecution is also one being carried out against all sentient beings. There are also many Chinese people who, under the evil Party's instigation and threats, have been involved in the persecution, which will quite possibly make them miss the opportunity to be saved. From this perspective, those individuals involved in the persecution are also victims. It is just because of this that Falun Gong practitioners hold no hatred, but instead compassion, towards all Chinese people, including those who have participated in the persecution. In the past ten years, while being persecuted and slandered, Falun Gong practitioners have tried their best and held no regrets in their clarifying the facts about Falun Gong to sentient beings. This is especially true concerning the Falun Gong practitioners in Mainland China; while under the extreme risk of being arrested, sent to forced labor camps, sentenced, cruelly tortured, and even killed, they still keep giving out truth-clarification materials and bringing the truth to the people of Mainland China, so as to give them a good future. The practitioners of Falun Gong outside of China have also spread the goodness of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to over one hundred countries and regions.

Because the evil Party persecutes the faith of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and tries to ruin the future of sentient beings, Falun Gong practitioners have distributed the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to help people recognize the evil nature of the Communist Party, withdraw themselves from it and its affiliated organizations, and not share in its demise. In this way, the Party will be disintegrated and people will walk into the future. So what Falun Gong practitioners have been doing is not political, as they have no interest in any ordinary people's power; they are instead saving people and helping people have a good future.

In the past ten years, through their Fa study and cultivation and their clarifying the facts, Falun Gong practitioners have kept upgrading their spiritual realms. They have become even more steadfast in their belief of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. On their path of continuing cultivation, they will become even more steadfast and confident. They will also become even clearer on their missions that they committed to before coming to the human world. They will continue their efforts, with a cultivators' purity and compassion, to bring the truth to the world and goodness to people.
