A Female Farmer in Hunan Province Brutally Persecuted and Illegally Sentenced

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Xiaoping Xin, a practitioner from Linli County, Hunan Province, is being illegally imprisoned in the detention center in Linli. Her current condition is not very optimistic: she is pale, losing weight, has cold hands and feet despite a hot summer, is so skinny that bones are visible, and has swollen ankles and a dark instep. On April 15 members of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) sentenced her to three years in prison. Her family is now preparing to appeal and request her release with a verdict of not guilty.

In court, Ms. Xiaoping said, "I have done nothing wrong in practicing Falun Gong to be a good person. I did not steal or kill. Why did you arrest me?" The judge had promised her that once she told them the whereabouts of a female practitioner, she would be released. Ms. Xiaoping said, "I don't know where she is. I would not tell you even if I knew. When do your words ever count?" The CCP member tempted her, "Who owns about the printer we found in your home? You could blame it on others!" Xiaoping Xin stood firm.
