Case Description:
Ms. Sun Shouqi, 56, lived on Madao Street in Dingzhou City. Because of her belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and practicing Falun Gong, Ms. Sun was arrested in April 2002 and jailed in the Dingzhou City Detention Center. She began a hunger strike on June 1, 2003, to protest the prolonged detention and was injected against her will with an unknown drug by the police on June 3. She died on the morning of June 4.
