Case Description:

Dafa practitioner Ms. Lu Guirong was a farmer living in No. 5 group, Donggui Village, Baohe Township, Chenghua District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. On June 28, 2000, when she was going to Beijing to validate Dafa, a group of people led by police chief Zhai, police officer Chen Fuguo from Baohe Township Police Station and No.5 group leader Chen Kai and military office head Zhang Decai of No.5 group, Donggui Village, Baohe Township intercepted her at the railway station in Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. They took her back to Baohe Township Police Station and detained her at the police station for six days.

It rained heavily for days, and rainwater had leaked all over the detention room. Ms. Lu had not had sleep for several days. The police officers only gave her little to eat and a bit tap water every day. The fifth day, the rain stopped. It then became extremely hot. At noon, police officer Chen Fuguo forced Lu Guirong and Jin Xikun to wash several cars in the burning sun. When they finished, it was near dusk. The sixth day, Ms. Lu was transferred to Jiuru Village Detention Center in Chengdu City, and she lost consciousness that night. Next day the police informed Ms. Lu's family to come and take her home. On July 7,2000, the day after she returned home, Ms. Lu passed away.
