Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yuan Shengjun from Jiyuan City, Henan Province was illegally sentenced to six years in prison on October 7, 2005. After about two weeks, Yuan Shengjun was beaten to death by the police at the 610 Office. His body was full of wounds and bruises.
