(Minghui.org) In order to persecute Falun Gong and to instill people to hate Falun Gong, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has fabricated many lies to deceive the public, including the Tiananmen Square “self-immolation” hoax, the “1,400 deaths” from not taking medicine, and other propaganda. In order to dispel the lies, a group of Falun Gong practitioners in Taiwan is calling people who live across the Taiwan Strait to tell them the facts about Falun Gong. They have shared their experiences first hand to help break through the CCP lies.
After Falun Gong was first introduced to the public in 1992, it quickly spread by word of mouth due to its powerful healing effects and xinxing improvement, and within six years, an estimated 100 million people were practicing it in China. Some who had suffered from difficult and complicated illnesses, or even incurable illnesses, were cured. Most became healthier than they were before. In addition, they tried to be good people, which led to improving their home and work environments, and causing the people around them to praise them.
By relaying their own experiences to people in China, practitioners can effectively dispel the CCP's propaganda. The following is a story about a practitioner from Taiwan who has clarified the truth to Chinese people over the phone, and the changes that have taken place of people's attitude towards Falun Gong.
Extraordinary Healing Power
In 2002, 37-year-old Li Dahui (alias) was suffering from severe endometriosis. She bled a lot and was extremely pale. Sometimes she did not have the strength to go out, and stayed inside, trembling on the sofa. At the same time her 4-year-old child was suffering from severe asthmatic attacks and had difficulty breathing. Looking after the child was difficult, and she did not get enough sleep, which added to her burden. She also worried about her health and the health of her child, which caused her to become depressed.
Her sister-in-law then introduced her to Falun Gong and told her that her body could be purified after listening to the nine-day lecture series by Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong. She immediately attended a class that played the lecture series. After doing the exercises for a month, she felt full of energy, and amazingly, her body became healthy. She was very happy. She began reading Zhuan Falun two months after beginning the practice. When she read Zhuan Falun for the third time, she suddenly felt relaxed, and the symptoms of depression immediately disappeared.
Li Dahui's husband, who didn't believe in Falun Gong at first, was amazed by the changes he saw in her, and joined her by starting to practice. Falun Gong teaches people how to live according to the principles Zhen-Shan-Ren: Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The couple also introduced Falun Gong to their two children. The child who suffered from asthmatic attacks was cured shortly after he began practicing, and hasn't needed any medication since.
The quality of Li's life improved from practicing Falun Gong, and the entire family also benefited. After the CCP started the persecution, many Chinese people were fooled by the lies, causing them to misunderstand and hate Falun Gong, so Li was determined to call people in China to break through the lies by telling them her own experiences.
The Truth Has Spread All Over China
Glowing with health and confidence, Li Dahui began calling people in China in 2003. Her calls have covered almost every region of China. She has called people in the south, north, east, and west. She has talked to people from remote counties to crowded metropolises, and from peasants to officers. She has called schools, military units, prisons, hospitals, multinational companies, the Provincial Department of Public Security, and others. She never misses a number. She often refers to a map of China, just in case she has missed somewhere.
Li Dahui makes an online phone call to China
Sometimes after she makes a call, the person she has called will give her another number to call. “After people learn the truth and see that I am a good and helpful person, they tend to give me other numbers to call. They want their friends and family to learn the truth,” said Li. She records each call in a notebook. “Sometimes I call a switchboard. When I tell them how good Falun Gong is and explain the severity of the persecution, and after I persuade them to do the 'three withdrawals', they tend to give me the internal extension numbers (sometimes there is no similarity between the switchboard and the extension numbers).” The internal extension numbers often follow a sequential order, and Li dials them one by one.
“I redial even when I am disconnected. If someone wants to listen, I will redial until I make a connection. Sometime later, I often call back to say hello.” The purer the people are, the more they are willing to listen to Li Dahui. People transfer her calls, whether they are at work or in a dormitory. Feedback from the people she calls motivates her to keep calling. Li Dahui cares about the Chinese people, which is why she has made so many calls. She has helped more than 10,000 people quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Li gave some examples.
Caring About Chinese People
To celebrate the Mid-autumn Festival in 2005, the people in her building held a barbecue on top of the building. However, Li was thinking about how many people in China were still being fooled by the CCP, and she could thus not stay. She hurried back home to make calls. Even before she could sit down she was already making calls while standing up to clarify the truth. One of the leaders of a police department in Beijing answered the phone. With a sense of urgency, she told him the importance of withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. While people were having fun upstairs, she was helping to save people. Her sincerity and kindness touched him, and he agreed to quit in less than three minutes.
One of Li Dahui's calls also brought warmth to the young people living in the dormitories of an electronics company. She cared about them and told them the truth about Falun Gong. She called dormitory after dormitory. The young people were pure of mind and were willing to listen to her. She said, “Now it's your turn,” when her call was transferred to another person. More and more people came to know the truth. Sometimes dozens of people would agree to do the “three withdrawals” from just one phone call. Between 2004 and 2008, Li helped more than 1,000 people. Once a young man gave her another number and requested, “He is my best friend. Please tell him the truth. Please.” Then Li Dahui dialed the number and said, “Your friend cares about you and asked me to call you. What I am going to tell you will be important and helpful to you.” The person who answered the phone was a policeman at a police station. After he listened to the truth, he immediately quit the CCP.
Between 2007 and 2008, Li Dahui focused on a university in southwest China, and persuaded between 300 and 400 people to quit the CCP. Actually, the number of the university was given to her from a military man who had quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations after he learned the truth from her. Students from that university were pure and didn't have easy access to the Internet. Li Dahui told them that her family had benefited a lot from practicing Falun Gong, and Falun Gong had spread to over 100 countries around the world. She also exposed the how the CCP cruelly treats Falun Gong practitioners. After hearing this, most of the students agreed to quit. When Li mentioned that the CCP carried out organ harvesting from living Falun Dafa practitioners, some of the students said that they had heard about it years ago from family members or friends (the news of organ harvesting was first exposed in 2006), but no one dared to talk about it publicly. One student even mentioned that five or six practitioners that he knew from his hometown had disappeared one day and no one heard from them again. Li Dahui was shocked, as this fit the pattern of practitioners being used for organ harvesting.
Stopping Persecution Upon Hearing the Truth
In 2005, a corporation in an eastern province cooperated with the police department in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners by helping in the arrests of dozens of practitioners. Li Dahui called the boss of the corporation when she heard about this. The boss's child answered the phone. She told the child to be a good person and a good student. The child said, “I think I am a good child because when I visited Tiananmen Square, I gave some money to a beggar.” Li then asked him to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. The child was afraid and said he should ask for his father's permission. Li called the boss and told him that Falun Gong practitioners were good people. She emphasized, “Stop persecuting Falun Gong. Stop persecuting Falun Gong.” He hung up after listening for a long time. The next day, she redialed his number. He was rude and offensive, but he was still willing to listen to her. Li called him again in the afternoon, and told him that if the corporation treated their employees well, the employees would work hard in return, which is a win-win situation. She also explained that Falun Gong practitioners are good people who would bring benefit to the corporation. She mentioned that she had called his child, and praised the child's kindness. She asked the boss to treat Falun Gong practitioners kindly. The boss was touched and gave her the name and number of the person who instructed him to persecute practitioners.
Several days later, all of the practitioners from the corporation who had been arrested were released. The boss later agreed to quit the CCP himself and also for his child to quit. After some time, Li Dahui discovered that the person who instructed the boss to persecute the practitioners had a close relationship with Jiang Zemin, the former CCP head who launched the persecution. She called him again and again. One time his wife answered the phone and told her, “Please don't call me again. I know what happened. I started practicing Falun Gong as well.”
There are many practitioners in Taiwan like Li Dahui who care about the practitioners in China. Until the persecution ends, they will persist in calling people across the Taiwan Strait to tell them the facts.
