(Minghui.org) After more than 1,000 people signed a petition calling for the release practitioner Ms. Feng Wenzhen, the Li County Domestic Security Division copied the list and ordered all villages in the county to find the petitioners.
Most of the villages ignored the order. However, under the pressure of the 610 Office, some village officials reported the names of Falun Gong practitioners in their villages.
More than 1,900 people signed the petition for the release of Ms. Feng Wenzhen
Ms. Feng Wenzhen had been chronically ill and depressed in the past, but regained peace and good health as a result of practicing Falun Dafa. She told people her experience and and the powerful effects of the practice. However, she was illegally arrested and sentenced to seven years in prison for talking with people about Falun Dafa on September 19, 2007.
Ms. Feng's husband tried to appeal for her release, but he was also arrested by the Domestic Security Division and the 610 Office in Li County. He was then sentenced to two years in prison. Their home was vacant and unkept during the two years of their imprisonment.
Ms. Feng is still being held in the Shijiazhuang Women's Prison. Their child lives in a city far away. Her husband lives a difficult and lonely life with barely enough food to survive.
