(Minghui.org) In the brutal persecution environment in China, a society whose media is controlled by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Falun Dafa practitioners came up with an innovative way to publicize the facts about the practice and the persecution: printing messages on paper currency.
Those in the know, such as journalists and citizens who circumvent the CCP's Internet firewall, have begun to recognize the value of these bills and collect them as a form of investment.
My friend Yingjie told me a story. A few days ago, she showed her journalist friend a one-yuan bill that had a Falun Dafa related message printed on it. The journalist looked at it closely and kept nodding his head.
Yingjie thought to herself: “Please don't think of writing any reports that promote the CCP's slander of Falun Dafa.” To her surprise, the friend regarded the bill as a real treasure and murmured, “Excellent, truly remarkable.”
He turned to Yingjie and said, “Thank you. This bill is really good. I want to collect it and would like to pay you for it.”
“If you like it, you can keep it. You don't need to pay me anything,” she replied.
The journalist insisted, “No, no, no! If I don't pay you, it wouldn't reflect the value of my collection!” And he handed Yingjie a 100-yuan bill.
“I gave you one yuan, but you're paying me 100 yuan. It won't do,” argued Yingjie, who tried to give the money back.
The journalist replied, “This is a priceless treasure. Every character is worth a thousand pieces of gold!” In the end, Yingjie accepted 10 yuan in exchange for the bill.
Yingjie asked me, “I only wanted to show my journalist friend the message on the bill about Falun Dafa. I don't understand why the CCP is so afraid of these characters and why it ordered banks to destroy such bills. I wonder why my journalist friend thinks it's so valuable and collectible.”
I told her, “Your friend is right. Every character printed on the bill is worth a thousand pieces of gold. All good words about Falun Dafa are priceless. The CCP has caused the deaths of 80 million Chinese in its political purges.
“The fundamental teaching of Falun Dafa is the characteristic of the universe, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while beating, torturing, and murdering people will incur karmic retribution.”
“The CCP has committed horrendous crimes in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners, to the extent that it even harvests their organs! Heaven won't excuse this. If people are deceived by the lies of the CCP and go along with it, they will be included in the retribution that awaits the CCP. If one learns the facts from the messages on these bills and quits the CCP organizations, then his life will change for the better. How much is one's future worth?”
After certain banks posted announcements saying not to use currency with Falun Dafa related messages, people began to take a closer look at these bills, read the messages, and collect them for their prospective increase in value in the near future.
