(Minghui.org) “What is Falun Gong? What has happened in the persecution? How to understand Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance?” These questions were asked frequently by children in front of the Palace of Culture in Chudovo, Chudovsky District, Novgorod Oblast, Russia on October 3, 2015.
Falun Gong practitioners were holding an event near the Palace of Culture to introduce Falun Gong, raise awareness about the persecution in China and collect signatures to call for an end to the persecution.

The practitioners talked with many Chudovo residents during the three-hour event. Posters presented information about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Practitioners demonstrated the exercises and talked to people about what is taking place in China. They explained that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) deprives people of freedom of belief and persecutes Falun Gong with torture, violence and lies. Many Chudovo residents signed the petition against the persecution after learning the facts. The petition will be sent to the United Nations, calling for help to stop the persecution in China.
Most people were surprised to hear about the persecution. Many expressed their sympathy to the practitioners and signed the petition. Some talked with the practitioners for quite a while to learn more.
Many children were interested in the informational posters. They asked many questions. Some showed an interest in Falun Gong and learned the exercises during the event.
