(Minghui.org) Greetings, revered Master! Greetings, fellow practitioners!

Although I began practicing Falun Dafa as early as in 1998, I had never worked on any of our media projects full-time. I was asked several times if I would like to join as a full-timer, but I always declined using the excuse that I was too busy running my own business. Moreover, I had doubts about our chances to ever succeed in our media and fulfill Master’s wish. In a nutshell, I only noticed the obstacles.

I did appreciate how my fellow practitioners went all out to grow our media projects, but I wasn't ready to commit my time and efforts due to the boatloads of human notions I had yet to abandon.

My attitude changed, however, after I met the head of our media group in Europe this past summer. He explained to me how practitioners in one European country managed to run our media full time like a professional company.

To my surprise, my pessimistic thoughts dissipated after the conversation. I had insisted that it was impossible to run our media successfully in my country, but now I suddenly felt it was actually very doable. Thank you, Master, for awakening me! It was truly amazing to experience such an instant change of mindset.

Knowing that everything we do must be based on the Fa, I figured that we needed to establish a daily group exercise and group Fa study for the media project. After all, our success with the media is directly related to our elevation in cultivation levels and abandoning of attachments.

Before I joined the media project full time, I never really attended our local group Fa-study and exercises, as I mostly lived in small towns.

As I started working full time with five other practitioners in early August at our new office, we agreed to make our cultivation environment a top priority. We started our day at 7:30 a.m., sending forth righteous thoughts together. Then, we studied the Fa for an hour.

We next went to different tourist attractions and joined other practitioners in telling visitors from China about the persecution of Falun Dafa. Chinese-speaking practitioners handed out informational materials to the visitors and urged them to quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations. Western practitioners, on the other hand, did the exercises to show how peaceful Falun Dafa is.

In ”Fa Teaching at the 2013 Western U.S. Fa Conference,” Master said,

“When someone heads abroad [from China], well, since he isn’t able to hear the truth while in China, isn’t he being directed to go overseas so that he can learn the truth? You can’t abandon these people. We must still do a good job of clarifying the truth at the tourist sites in each region.”

We often felt immersed in Dafa's powerful field. Many Chinese tourists shouted, “Falun Dafa is Good!” My gut feeling told me that some of the visitors are also practitioners, while others probably had once practiced Falun Dafa. We did our best to cover as many tourists as possible before the peak season for travel slipped by.

Talking to visitors greatly helped me improve my level. For the first time in my cultivation, I could actually sense my elevation on a daily basis. Whenever I spotted an attachment, I knew to look within and worked to get rid of my human notions.

Now, two months have passed since we had our first project. We haven't had a chance to enhance the contents of our media offerings, but we have noticeably improved our advertisement sales. It was apparent that positive outcomes followed our xinxing improvement.

For instance, a practitioner tasked with advertisement sales received a phone call right after he and I discussed how we should do our best to dig out our zealotry. The call confirmed a buyer's purchase of an ad in our media. Thank you, Master!

I was able to let go of my zealotry, because I've come to see that Master has arranged everything for us in other dimensions, and I just need to focus on my daily routine without stressing over the outcome.

Zealotry is indeed a manifestation of selfishness. It would surface when I become attached to doing things my way. Underlying the attachment is also the fear of losing face for failing to succeed in doing things.

In “Fa Teaching Given at the 2014 San Francisco Fa Conference,” Master said,

”If you are unable to look at things properly, if you are unable to regard yourself as a cultivator and look inside, you will really have no way to cultivate.”

The cultivation environment we have established is actually the key to letting go of all these fears and selfishness. My experience is that I can relinquish my attachments as long as I immerse myself in this newly established cultivation environment, which encourages me to always look within.

As a career entrepreneur, I was used to bossing people around. Of course, there is no room for such an attitude in our media project. I am now working to eliminate this attachment after one practitioner pointed it out to me recently.

Another practitioner told me that my fear of failing to achieve perfection may explain why I became so upset over jobs that I deemed unsatisfactory. I disagreed at first, but soon came around to embrace the idea and worked to get rid of that fear.

I often avoided tackling my xinxing problems in the past, but working full time on the media project now gives me opportunities to confront my attachments head-on. I really appreciate it when my fellow practitioners point out my omissions.

I also remind myself to look within instead of finding faults in others when conflicts arise. I came to see that I was indeed using my own standards, not Dafa's principles, to gauge right or wrong when trying to blame other practitioners. As I learn to identify positive sides of my fellow practitioners, I have come to appreciate them more than ever.

In ”Be More Diligent,” Master said,

“If you can manage to quietly complete what you notice is lacking, quietly do well what you should do, and quietly do something well when you find it to have been done less than ideally, then the multitude of gods will have tremendous admiration for you and exclaim that this person is simply extraordinary. Only doing things this way counts as what a Dafa disciple should do.”

My own improvement attests to the fact that our media is not only a platform for saving sentient beings, but also a cultivation environment for us to improve ourselves. Working full time demands our full attention, thus enabling us to achieve a better result with our media efforts.

I have never felt so much joy in my life before. I should have joined the media long ago! I am a very happy and fortunate person. I had never thought that my life working as a media full-timer would be so wonderful.

Thank you, Master! Thank you, fellow practitioners!
