(Minghui.org) Ms. Wang Qiuju, Ms. Li Aixi, Ms. Yang Jinju, and Ms. Ran Xiumei were taken to be examined in the Dezhou City Hospital by the head of the Yucheng City Domestic Security Division and about eight other officers on June 11, 2015.

The four women were then transferred to the Dezhou Detention Center, but Ms. Yang and Ms. Li were not admitted because they both had high blood pressure.

They were taken back to the Dezhou Hospital, where the doctors were ordered to exam them four more times. Back at the detention center, Ms. Yang and Ms. Li were not still admitted because they had failed all four exams.

The head of the Yucheng Domestic Security Division then tried to have them admitted to the Yucheng Detention Center, but to no avail.

Ms. Yang and Ms. Li were released on bail the same day pending trial.

Arrested and Homes Ransacked

The four practitioners were illegally arrested on the evening of May 28, 2015, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong in Yucheng City. They were taken to the Shiliwang Police Station at around 11 p.m. and detained overnight. They were transferred to the Yucheng City Detention Center the next day.

Several officers from the Yucheng Domestic Security Division, Pingyuan County Domestic Security Division, and 610 Office, including Li Feng and Wang Miaom ransacked the practitioners’ homes several times and confiscated the following items.

At Ms. Li’s home they took: a laptop computer, printer, CD recorder, laminating machine, paper cutter, over 100 blank DVDs, paper bills with information about Falun Gong printed on them, Falun Gong books and informational materials, and other personal belongings.

At Ms. Ran’s home they took: a paper cutter, an MP5 player, a Falun Gong calendar, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, a picture of the Chinese characters Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, an electric tricycle, and other personal belongings.

At Ms. Yang’s home they took: a picture of the Chinese characters of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, Falun Gong calendars, and other personal belongings.

At Ms. Li’s home they took: Falun Gong books and other personal belongings.

In the Yucheng Detention Center, the four practitioners went on a hunger strike for about a week to protest their unlawful detention. The guards threatened to force feed them.

Despite being persecuted, these practitioners remain compassionate and talk to officers from the Yucheng Domestic Security Division and the detention center about Falun Gong and the persecution.
