Relatives of Falun Dafa Practitioners File Lawsuits Against Jiang Zemin

A group of people from Fujian, a southern province of China, have decided to stand up for justice and sue the former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin, who launched the persecution of Falun Gong 16 years ago. These people witnessed their family members benefit from the practice, only to later see them suffer torture and other brutal forms of persecution. A few of their stories are presented here.

Paralyzed Woman Makes Astonishing Recovery

A woman dreams that she had been given ten more years to live. Paralyzed and pained by advanced illnesses, she suffers one tribulation after another for almost a decade. One day, she receives a copy of Zhuan Falun from a friend. Hesitant at first, she reads the first two paragraphs of the book's introduction. What happens later surprises both her dejected husband and their neighbors.

Despite years of persecution, including negative propaganda and the very real threat of arrest, imprisonment, torture and death, Falun Gong practitioners have reached out to their fellow Chinese and talked to them about the essence of this peaceful cultivation practice. More people in China now understand and openly support Falun Gong.

Woman Who Dared to Speak Publicly About the Persecution of Falun Gong Dies from Abuses Suffered in Prison

Held at Baiyun District Women's Prison, Ms. Peng Wenxiu was subjected to various forms of abuse. She lost almost all her teeth within one year of imprisonment. Unable to eat, she became very weak, yet the guards still tortured her on a regular basis. She died shortly before the new year.
