(Minghui.org) A recent article on Minghui.org mentions that some practitioners in mainland China put truth-clarification materials in plastic bags and stick them on the walls of apartment complexes with double-sided tape. They stick new materials on top of old ones if the old ones are not taken. These materials have stacked up on walls in those residential areas.

Similar issues have occurred in my area. Here are a few examples:

A practitioner told me that some new materials had just become available. These materials were easy to distribute. He urged me to take some. What he meant was that he had distributed many copies.

He didn't spend a lot of time talking to people in person. Instead, he tried to push the materials on people, without thinking whether the person had received the same materials or would like to take it. This has wasted resources.

If someone tells him that he or she wants to read the truth-clarification materials, he would keep sending copies to the person. He doesn't tell the person to pass it on to others. As a result, the person keeps a lot of materials without circulating them.

I attended a banquet in a village near my city and visited households afterwards to talk to them about Falun Dafa and the persecution. I chatted with a man who was organizing vegetables in his courtyard. He was very friendly and invited me to sit with him.

He was receptive when I told him about the persecution and told me that his relative practices Falun Dafa and that he had a lot of materials in his house. The materials had overlapping contents.

He asked kindly, “You have to spend a lot of money to make these materials. Would you like to take the copies that I have read and pass them along to others?”

He led me to where he kept the materials. I saw many copies with dust on them. There were several editions of Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. In addition, I saw Shen Yun and other video discs and DVDs. I organized the materials and took some duplicated or read copies. I also gave him a few new copies and asked him to pass them along after reading them.

A person in the vegetable seed business accepts all the materials we give him. We found out later that he uses the truth-clarification materials to package his seeds. If we simply distribute materials without speaking about the facts and helping people quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations, aren't we allowing people to create more karma for themselves?

If we are focused on the quantity of materials we distribute without thinking about the results, aren't we wasting our resources? Our practitioners who produce the materials are urged to make more and don't have time to study the Fa. This may lead them to being arrested due to a poor cultivation state. All of these cause losses to our validating the Fa.

Many practitioners say that calendars are easy to distribute and that everyday people are eager to take them. Some even want more than one copy. It's really good if people are eager to know the truth or quit the communist organizations. However, if they just want the calendars for functionality, then it's a pity.

Can we change our habit of just distributing materials? Can we try to first speak about the truth and engage people in conversation? Tell them about criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin, the main perpetrator of the persecution? Will we see better results if we give calendars out after explaining the facts?

We shouldn't be attached to the volume of activities. We have been sowing the seeds when distributing truth-clarification materials for so many years. It's time for the harvest. Therefore, I suggest that fellow practitioners clarify the truth with righteous thoughts and wisdom.

I believe that Master has paved the road for us. We are going out every day and reaching out to people. Why don't we take a step further by engaging others with more exchanges? Don't miss any opportunities; people's knowing sides are waiting for salvation.
