Hong Kong Practitioners Wish Founder of Falun Gong a Happy New Year

Falun Gong practitioners in Hong Kong celebrated the New Year with a series of events including music, group exercises and a parade through the busy downtown area. They conveyed a special New Year's greetings to the founder of Falun Gong, Master Li Hongzhi.

Occasions such as this give practitioners the opportunity to share how they feel about Falun Gong and why they find it so rewarding to practice. “I found that bad habits, intolerance, jealousy and hatred were gradually eliminated by following Master Li's teachings. It's a marvelous process,” said one. “I thank Master Li for helping me to become a better person,” said another.

With the coming of the new year, many non-practitioner Chinese who support Falun Gong sent greetings to revered Master Li. Some described how they have benefited from Falun Gong and reached a good understanding of what the practice truly is. Others offered support for the lawsuits to bring Jiang to justice.
