(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 18 cities or counties in 12 provinces. According to this report, 14 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 13 were illegally arrested.

Ms. He Zhuhong was arrested on March 2, 2016. She was tried on August 23 at the Lechang Court. She was given a four-year prison term on November 8.
2. [Tianmen City, Hubei Province] Ms. Jin Qiong'e Given Eight-Month Prison Term
Ms. Jin Qiong'e was arrested on May 13, 2016. She was sentenced to eight months in prison. She is held in the Tianmen City No. 1 Detention Center.
3. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Given Three-Year Prison Terms
Mr. Huang Futang, Ms. Li Shaoqin, and Mr. Fang Kuanfeng were each sentenced to three years in prison. They have appealed.
4. [Tianjin] Ms. Xu Xinfang Given a Three-Year Prison Term
Ms. Xu Xinfang, 65, was arrested by officers from the Hongqiao District Police Station in mid-August 2016. Her home was ransacked. She was given a three-year prison term and taken to the Tianjin Women's Prison.
5. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced to Prison
The Jiujiang City Intermediate Court rejected the appeals of Ms. Huang Yindi and Mr. Gao Jiaqu and upheld their original sentences. Ms. Huang was given a four-and-a-half-year prison term and Mr. Gao was sentenced to four years. Ms. Zhong was sentenced to three years in prison. The two practitioners were taken to the Jiangxi Province Women's Prison.
6. [Qianguo County, Jilin Province] Ms. Pan Guilan Detained
Ms. Pan Guilan from Dongsanjiazi Town was arrested at home by officers from the Qianguo County Domestic Security Division on the morning of November 17, 2016. She is being held in the Guaibodian Detention Center for 15 days of detention.
7. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Suqing Detained
Ms. Wang Suqing, 70, was arrested by officers from the Tianfeng Street Police Station on November 8, 2016 for talking to people about Falun Gong in a market. She was taken into custody.
8. [Dongliao County, Jilin Province] Ms. Chen Jie Detained
Ms. Chen Jie was arrested on November 18, 2016 by officers from the Dongliao Police Department. She was given 10 days of detention.
9. [Luchuan County, Guangxi Province] Ms. Lu Ruizhen and Ms. Nong Shaoying Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Lu Ruizhen and Ms. Nong Shaoying were tried on October 14, 2016 at the Luchuan County Court. Both practitioners were given four-and-a-half-year prison terms. They were taken to the Guangxi Women's Prison on November 6, 2016. They were arrested on May 13, 2016.
10. [Liuyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Peng Huilian Detained
Mr. Peng Huilian was arrested by officers from the Guankou Police Station on the afternoon of November 12, 2016 for talking to people about Falun Gong. He was taken to the Liuyang City Detention Center for five days of detention.

11. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Shuxia Arrested
Ms. Li Shuxia from Xidayingzi Town, Longcheng District, was arrested on November 19, 2016 for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Xidayingzi farmers market.
12. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Su Fengting and Ms. Zhao Shuqin Arrested
Ms. Su Fengting and Ms. Zhao Shuqin from Shuihuopu Village, Dawangguzhuang Town, Wuqing District, were arrested by officers from the Daxuecheng Police Station on November 19, 2016 for talking to people about Falun Gong.
13. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Mr. Zhi Yusheng and two other practitioners were arrested and taken to the Leliu Town Police Station by officers from the Criminal Police Division on the evening of November 15, 2016. They were using cell phones to send text messages about Falun Gong.
The three practitioners were transferred to the Shunde District Detention Center the following evening. Mr. Zhi and the female practitioner were taken into custody. The other male practitioner was released due to severe hypertension and myocardial infarction.

14. [Ningjin County, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Liancai Detained
Ms. Li Liancai from Dacaozhuang Town was recently arrested and taken to the Longyao County Detention Center by officers from the Qianhuying Town Police Station for talking to people about Falun Gong in Qianhuying Town, Longyao County.

Mr. Guan Zhenlin was given a six-year prison term. He was taken to the Jiuquan Prison in October 2016.

Ms. Zhang Hongzhen was arrested on September 26, 2016 for distributing Falun Gong informational materials. She is held in the Changchun City No. 4 Detention Center.

Ms. Li Xizhong, 68, was sentenced to three years in prison by the Yuhu District Court in February 2016.
She was arrested by Wu Jianping, a security officer of the Xiangtan University, on May 25, 2015. She was held in the Xiangtan City Detention Center. She was released on bail on September 18, 20165.
