Mr. Cao Shan was arrested by officers from the local police station on October 21, 2016, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police confiscated several printers, computers, informational materials, and Falun Gong books. He was detained for ten days. The police returned all confiscated items.

Ms. Liu Baoxiang was arrested at home by officers from Xiantai Community on November 2, 2016. The police confiscated cell phones, DVDs, books, and cash. She is being held at Liaoyuan Detention Center.

Ms. Yin Ali was arrested by officers from Chuangyedajia Police Station on November 10, 2016. She was detained for five days. Ms. Yin was also detained for five days in May.

5. [Shifang City, Sichuan Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
Mr. Ren Shenglin and an elderly practitioner were arrested by plainclothes officers on November 16, 2016. The elderly practitioner was soon released. The police ransacked Mr. Ren's home and confiscated Falun Gong books and informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.
6. [Gulin County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Liao Ting Sentenced
Mr. Liao Ting, arrested in November 2015, was tried and sentenced to a four-year prison term by Gulin Court on April 19, 2016. He appealed but the Luzhou City Intermediate Court upheld the original sentence on September 27, 2016.
Mr. Liao was taken to Jiazhou Prison in Leshan City on or around November 8.

7. [Luzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Yunfang Detained
Ms. Liu Yunfang, 70, was arrested by officers including Li Xiongming from Yongning Police Station on November 1, 2016, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was held at Anfu Detention Center, but her family had difficulty locating her whereabouts.
The police confiscated approximately 600 yuan from Ms. Liu. While at the detention center, she was forcibly injected with an unknown drug. She was released on November 9. The police confiscated a picture of the founder of Falun Gong from her home.

Ms. Liu Bao and Ms. Teng Yumei were detained for more than four months.

9. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Sentenced
Four practitioners appealed their sentences to Dongying City Intermediate Court in late September 2016.
The Court, dominated by the Youtian 610 Office and Binhai Police Department, upheld the sentences of Ms. Chen Yan and Ms. Liu Xuemin on October 27, 2016. Ms. Chen was sentenced to a five-year prison term and fined 20,000 yuan and Ms. Liu to 18-month’s imprisonment and fined 6,000 yuan.
Ms. Pan Yuying and Mr. Shi Qiang have been held at Binhai Detention Center for more than 15 months. Their appeal is still pending.
10. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Sun Meilan and another practitioner were arrested by officers from Fulai Police Station on November 14, 2016. The police ransacked their homes and confiscated Falun Gong books from Ms. Sun's home. Ms. Sun was held at Kaifa District Detention Center in Yantai for 15 days. The other practitioner was released due to physical problems.

Ms. Zhao Lina was arrested by officers from Xinan Police Station on November 16, 2016. The police ransacked her home.

14. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Guifang and Ms. Liu Kejuan Arrested
Ms. Wang Guifang's home was ransacked by officers including Mai Zhenlong from Hezuo District Police Station on November 16, 2016. Ms. Liu Kejuan was arrested at Ms. Wang's home by officers from Qianyangbianfang Police Station.
15. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Shan Qiuju, Ms. Miao Guihong, and Ms. Li Yingxiu were arrested at Ms. Shan's home by officers from Zhongchang Police Station on November 7, 2016. The police ransacked and photographed Ms. Shan's home. They confiscated three machines, a computer, a paper cutter, Falun Gong books, five or six boxes of printing paper, and four bottles of ink.
The three practitioners were taken to the police station for interrogation. They were photographed and had their fingerprints taken. Ms. Li and Ms. Miao were released in the evening. Ms. Shan was taken to a hospital for physical examination and then to Nanguanling Prison. The prison refused to accept her, so she was taken back to the police station. She was released at 2 a.m. the next day after the police extorted 5,000 yuan from her.
16. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] One Tried and Four Arrested
Handcuffed and shackled, Ms. Yuan Xiaoman was tried on November 16, 2016. While attending the trial, Ms. Zang Lianmei and Ms. Wang Lingzai were arrested and taken to Kumingjie Police Station by officers from Zhongshan District Domestic Security Division. Ms. Sun Xianghong and another female practitioner were also arrested. The police ransacked their homes.
17. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Qinghua and Ms. Mo Hongyan Detained
Ms. Zhang Qinghua and Ms. Mo Hongyan are being held at Shenyang No. 1 Detention Center.
18. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Jin Dejing Arrested and Ms. Sheng Yuxia's Family Harassed
Ms. Jin Dejing's home was ransacked by officers from the Taihe District Domestic Security and Nuerhe Police Station on November 15, 2016. They confiscated Falun Gong books. Ms. Jin was arrested the next day.
Police went to Ms. Sheng Yuxia's home on November 16, but Ms. Jin was not there. The officers harassed her family.

Ms. Xia Yuqing and Ms. Zhang Chunlian were arrested by officers from Domestic Security Division on November 13, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong and providing informational materials about it.
The police then ransacked Ms. Xia's home and confiscated a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, all of her Falun Gong books, and informational materials. Ms. Xia and Ms. Zhang were taken to the division for interrogation. They were held at Jinzhou City Detention Center for ten days.
20. [Chongqing] Ms. Yu Yongbi and Ms. Yu Yongxiu Arrested
Ms. Yu Yongbi and Ms. Yu Yongxiu were arrested and had their homes ransacked on November 16, 2016.

Ms. Li Rongfen, in her 60s, was arrested at home on November 15, 2016. After a physical examination she was taken to Daqing Detention Center, where she was detained for 15 days.
