(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 5 cities or counties in 5 provinces. According to this report, 5 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 3 were illegally arrested.

Ms. Sun Jifeng was arrested by Li Hongquan, Deputy Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, on February 7, 2016, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is detained in the Dandong Detention Center.

2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Jiang Shufen and Ms. Xiu Shuhua Arrested
Ms. Jiang Shufen was arrested and taken to the Weizigou Detention Center on November 26, 2015. She was released that evening because of her poor physical condition.
Ms. Xiu Shuhua was arrested by police officers from the Nong Town Police Station on October 1, 2015. The police ransacked her home. Ms. Xiu was detained for 10 days.
3. [Suining County, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Tong Dejun Detained
Mr. Tong Dejun was arrested by police officers from the Qiuji Town Police Station on January 6, 2016. The police confiscated his Falun Gong books. He was taken to the Suining County Detention Center the next day and detained for 12 days.
4. [Rongcheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Guo Hongqiu and Ms. Chu Jinhong Arrested
Ms. Guo Hongqiu and Ms. Chu Jinhong were arrested by plainclothes officers and taken to the Bianfang Police Station on January, 26, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police ransacked their homes.
Ms. Guo was released that evening due to high blood pressure and Ms. Chu was taken to the Rongcheng Detention Center. She was detained there for 10 days.

5. [Mancheng County, Hebei Province] Ms. San Hong and Ms. Xia Guiting Detained
Ms. San Hong and Ms. Xia Guiting were arrested by police officers from the Shenxing Town Police Station on February 7, 2016, for hanging banners with information about the persecution of Falun Gong. Both are detained in the Mancheng County Detention Center.
