(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Fan Xihua, 74, from Xiangtan, Hunan Province, used to work at Company One of the 23rd Smelting Plant. She was illegally arrested on June 21, 2016, for putting up stickers on a gate at Huannan University of Science and Technology.
She wanted to let people know the truth about the staged "Tiananmen Self-immolation." She refused to cooperate with the local Domestic Security Division and was released the same day.
Recounting Her Arrest
I was arrested by a police officer from the security section of the university just after 5:00 p.m. on June 21. Zhai Jianguo, head of the university's 610 Office, insisted that I be taken to the Jiuhua Police Sub-station for interrogation.
As I was pushed into a police van, I shouted, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” Many students and passersby witnessed the incident. I told them that the officers were arresting an innocent 74-year-old lady and asked them to remember “Falun Dafa is good.”
The officers confiscated my bag and mobile phone. They took a photo of the stickers I had put up before taking me to the police sub-station.
Around 8:00 p.m., four officers broke into my home and ransacked it without a warrant. They confiscated 41 Falun Dafa books, two MP4 players, two music players and a notebook computer.
They asked for the computer password and said if I cooperated they would release me, but I refused.
“What goes around comes around,” I told them. “High-ranking officials, including Zhou Yongkang, Li Dongcheng, and Surong, who were sentenced for corruption, were actually punished for persecuting Falun Gong. Jiang Zemin, the former head of the communist regime, will also be brought to justice. What will happen to you then? You'd better leave a way out for yourselves and stop persecuting practitioners. In fact, you are also victims by doing what you are doing.”
Unsuccessful Detention Attempt
They took me to another room and tried to measure my height and weight, but I sat down and refused to cooperate. One of the officers tried to badmouth Falun Gong. I stopped him and said that he would have to bear responsibility for what he said. He gave an awkward smile and dropped his head.
A little while later, two officers, one with the badge number 052033 and the other with badge number 052280, took me to the interrogation room of the Xiangshui Township Police Station. Four more officers appeared, three men and a woman, and took my blood pressure against my will.
“How extraordinary you are! You need six officers to interrogate one 74-year-old lady,” I said. They left the room and did not return.
The officer with the number 052033 tried to charge me with making false accusations. I ignored them. I asked Master in my heart to save him and help me. Eventually he stopped the interrogation without my giving a confession or signature.
