(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners set up a stand on Bahnhofstrasse Street in downtown Zurich, Switzerland on September 3, 2016 to raise awareness of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong. They placed Falun Gong information materials on a table and set up posters exposing the CCP's persecution and the state-sanctioned organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit.

Many passers-by had already heard of Falun Gong and came forward to the signature collection table to sign the petition against the CCP's live organ harvesting. Some heard about Falun Gong for the first time and paused to learn more by talking with practitioners and reading the posters.

Joanna hopes that each government exerts pressure on the CCP and helps stop the live organ harvesting of prisoners of conscience.

Joanna is from Australia and lives in Switzerland. She came to know about Falun Gong and the CCP's persecution from the Art of Zhen Shan Ren International Exhibition a few years ago.

Joanna said, “People should have freedom to pursue their own spiritual belief. They (Falun Gong practitioners) should have their own belief. It is a crime to imprison them just because of their spiritual belief. Live organ harvesting and killing of these people are crimes. What the communist regime is doing is horrible.”

She signed the petition against the live organ harvesting, “The CCP's live organ harvesting is a crime. It is a crime against humanity and must be stopped. People and the governments of each country should speak out against the crime. They should place human rights above trade. I don't think it is right to keep good relationships with a country that kills its own people.”

Marina could not understand why the CCP persecutes Falun Gong, a peaceful practice. She said, “It is unreasonable to ban people from such a helpful practice. The live organ harvesting is a disaster. It shouldn't happen.” She signed the petition and said that she hoped the petition would help stop the atrocities.

Mona works in an insurance company. She came forward to sign the petition upon seeing the large banner worded “Signature collection – stop the CCP's live organ harvesting! This should be stopped!”

Mona said, “It is a tragedy. Those perpetrators must be brought to justice.”
