(Minghui.org) The 52nd Beaches Easter Parade in Toronto was held on April 16, 2017. Falun Gong practitioners' waist drum team and Tian Guo Marching Band were invited once again to showcase traditional Chinese culture.

IT Manager: Falun Gong Waist Drum Team Played Well!

Aldo Angel, an IT manager, brought his two daughters to watch the parade.

He said of the Falun Gong group's waist drum team, “Their costumes are colorful and their performance is great!”

A Bookstore Retailer: The Tian Guo Marching Band Is Amazing!

Daniella Armstrong, who works in a bookstore in Toronto, and her friend, Fay Carretta, attended the parade. Armstrong said, “The Tian Guo Marching Band is amazing! I love their costumes, blue and white, just like white clouds in the blue sky.”

Carretta is from Brazil and is studying at George Brown College. She said, “It is terrible that the Chinese regime persecutes Falun Gong. These peaceful people should not be persecuted and killed for their organs.”

Police Officer Shows Support for Falun Gong

Ripu Thakur, a police officer on duty in the parade area, said, “The teaching of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is great. The Chinese communist regime's persecution and live organ harvesting is horrible.”

Chinese Spectators Shout: “Falun Dafa Is Great!”

When Falun Gong procession moved to a location where there were a group of Chinese spectators, they shouted together, “Falun Dafa is great!”

A practitioner met a Chinese-Canadian police officer who was on duty during the parade. The police officer was from China and had joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Young Pioneers. Upon learning the details about the persecution from the practitioner, the officer decided to take a stance by withdrawing his membership in the Young Pioneers.

Several other Chinese spectators also decided to quit their memberships in Communist Party organizations.
