(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 18 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 8 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 10 were illegally arrested.

Four plainclothes police officers broke into Ms. Jia Meitao's home in Baochang Town, Taibus Banner, on the morning of June 2, 2017. They pushed her to the ground, twisted her arms behind her back, and ransacked her home.
The officers confiscated three Falun Gong books, three small speakers, and over 100 yuan in paper currency with Falun Gong information printed on them.
2. [Beijing] Mr. Tian Feng Detained
Mr. Tian Feng was arrested by officers from the Guangning Police Station in the Shijingshan District on May 13, 2017. He was held in the Shijingshan Detention Center.

3. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Ms. Gao Wanhua Sentenced to a Three-Year Prison Term
Ms. Gao Wanhua was arrested on August 7, 2016, for distributing Falun Gong materials. She was given a three-year prison term, and was taken to the Jilin Provincial Women's Prison before the 2017 Chinese New Year.
4. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Hong Taken to Jinan Prison
Ms. Liu Hong from the Wendeng District was given a two-year-and-six-month prison term. She was taken to the Jinan Prison on June 6, 2017.
5. [Dezhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Hengyu Taken to Brainwashing Center Just Before Prison Term Ends
Ms. Zhang Hengyu from Wucheng County was arrested in Hengshui City, Hubei Province, on May 30, 2014. She was held in the Wenquan Hotel in Hengshui for several days before being transferred to the Gucheng County Detention Center.
Ms. Zhang was given a three-year prison term on July 9, 2014, and was taken to the Jizhong Prison in Tangshan City. Just before her prison term was about to end officers from the Wucheng Police Department took her to a brainwashing center.
6. [Binzhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zeng Yongsheng Detained
Mr. Zeng Yongsheng was reported to the authorities for distributing Falun Gong materials on May 16, 2017. He was arrested by officers from the 110 Response Unit and held in the Binzhou City Detention Center for ten days.
7. [Qingzhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Feng Aixiang Detained
Ms. Feng Aixiang from Gaoliu Town was arrested at her home by four police officers on the morning of April 20, 2017. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated a DVD player, Falun Gong books, and other related materials.
Ms. Feng was taken to the Qingzhou Police Department and then to the Weifang Detention Center. She refused to cooperate with officials in the detention center, and was released on May 8, 2017.
8. [Longkou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Xiaoxiu's Bag Confiscated
Ms. Chen Xiaoxiu from Miaoqian Village, Beima Town, was talking to people about Falun Gong on May 23, 2017, when two officers from the Haidai Border Police Station snatched her bag.
Four or five booklets about Falun Gong, a few Falun Dafa amulets, pictures of the stone with Chinese characters that says “the Chinese Communist Party will perish,” and her electric bicycle keys were in the bag.
When Ms. Chen went to the police station to demand the return of her belongings, she was only given her bike keys back.
9. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhao's Husband and Son Taken into Custody
Several officers from the Liuhuapo Police Station in the Huangdao District, ransacked Ms. Zhao's home on the morning of June 6, 2017. They confiscated a computer, printer, copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, other related materials, and over ten boxes of printer paper. Her husband and son are held in the police station.
Ms. Zhao was forced to stay away from her home to avoid being arrested. She is from Duduozi Village.
10. [Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Ms. Pan Xiuhua Arrested
Ms. Pan Xiuhua was arrested on May 26, 2017.
11. [Nantong City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wang Ruying's Whereabouts Unknown
Ms. Wang Ruying, 76, has been missing since May 23, 2017.
12. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Zongsu's Home Ransacked
Officers from the Diaoyutai Police Station broke into Ms. Zhang Zongsu's home on the evening of June 4, 2017. They confiscated two computers, a printer, and printed materials.
They tried to arrest Ms. Zhang, but did not succeed.

13. [Huanghua City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Hui Placed in Criminal Detention
Ms. Wang Hui was tricked into going downstairs to sign for an express delivery on the afternoon of May 22, 2017. She was arrested by plainclothes officers and taken to the Huanghua City Police Department, where she was placed in criminal detention.
The officers confiscated three cell phones, a computer, and Falun Gong books. Ms. Wang was taken to Songyang County in Zhejiang Province.
14. [Xiangcheng City, Henan Province] Mr. Tong Guojun Arrested
Mr. Tong Guojun was arrested by three police officers on the morning of June 6, 2017.
15. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhang Jiao'e Detained
Ms. Zhang Jiao'e, 60, from Guanshan Town was arrested by officers from the Zhongnanlu Police Station on the morning of June 4, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong.
Ms. Zhang was taken to the Wuhan City No. 1 Detention Center that evening.
16. [Yongzhou City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Manjuan Arrested
Ms. Wang Manjuan was arrested on June 6, 2017. Her whereabouts are unknown.

17. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Jin Hong Detained
Six or seven officers from the Dongjie Police Station in the Mazhangfang area, Longgang District, broke into Ms. Jin Hong's home and arrested her on the morning of June 6, 2017. She was taken to a detention center that afternoon.
