(Minghui.org) May 13, 2017 marked the 25th anniversary of Falun Dafa's public introduction. A Chinese lawyer who had represented Falun Gong practitioners made the following statement to commemorate the occasion:
Nowadays, almost all the people in China recognize that the moral values of this society are deteriorating daily, the moral standard is declining tremendously, and people bear malice toward each other. The reason behind all these is the idea of being “busy with making money and caring for nothing else.” This idea was maliciously promoted by the former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin. This has resulted in people giving up their spiritual beliefs and their souls.
However, even under such an environment, there are still some who dare to face torture and imprisonment, to silently endure the discrimination and injustice from society and even their own families for their belief.
They are the proof that the spirit of the Chinese people has not been crushed—they are the hope of saving the Chinese people. They are the true believers, the true practitioners of Falun Dafa, and I credit it all to Master Li Hongzhi.
