(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 25 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 24 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 21 were illegally arrested.

Ms. Sun Yingwei's home was ransacked by four officers from Daoyi Police Station on August 17, 2016. Her home was ransacked again by officers from the Shenbei New District Police Department. The chief police beat Ms. Sun and her mother. The police confiscated over 100 Falun Gong books, computers, printers, jewelry and other personal belongings. Ms. Sun is held in the Zaohua Detention Center.

2. [Pucheng County, Fujian Province] Ms. Peng Bingying Imprisoned
Ms. Peng Bingying was arrested in October 2015 for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was held in the Pucheng County Detention Center for 15 days and then transferred to the Wuyishan City Detention Center where she was held for over a month. She was sentenced in May and is imprisoned in a prison in Fuzhou City.

Mr. Zhang Baocai and his wife Ms. Zhang Bingkun were tried on September 14, 2016.
4. [Yuncheng County, Shandong Province] Mr. Fan Zhenyan Arrested
Mr. Fan Zhenyan was arrested on September 14, 2016, for distributing Falun Gong informational materials.
5. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Ms. Peng Xiaoping Arrested
Ms. Peng Xiaoping was arrested and her home was ransacked on September 13, 2016.

Ms. Jiang Shuying was arrested and her home ransacked on September 13, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is detained in the Daodi Police Station.
7. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Ms. Tang Qiju and Ms. Qiu Mei Arrested
Ms. Tang Qiju and Ms. Qiu Mei were arrested on September 13, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.
8. [Shaodong County, Hunan Province] Ms. Zeng Dongying Arrested
Ms. Zeng Dongying was arrested at home and taken to Shaoyang City around September 12, 2016.
9. [Baishan City, Jilin Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested
Six practitioners were arrested and taken to the Baishan City Detention Center by officers from the Hongqi Police Department and Xinjian Police Department on September 12, 2016. The detained practitioners are Mr. Chi Minxiang, Ms. Li Yahui, Mr. Zhang Keyang, Ms. Wang Ling, Ms. Ding, and Ms. Li.
Another Falun Gong practitioner who is an employee of the Xinhua Bookstore was arrested the next day.
10. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Fang Jianping Arrested
Ms. Fang Jianping was arrested on September 5, 2016.
11. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Chu Chunhua Imprisoned
Ms. Chu Chunhua was sentenced to a two-year prison term and taken to Heilongjiang Women's Prison on August 31, 2016.
12. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Five Practitioners Harassed
Police chief Xing Guoxue and a group of officers from the Damiao Police Station, broke into Ms. Zhang Shuhuan's home to harass her on September 2, 2016.
They went to the homes of four practitioners on September 6 to harass them. They demanded to be given phone numbers and ordered their family to go to the police station to sign documents.
13. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yuan Suxiu Harassed
Ms. Yuan Suxiu was harassed by a dozen officers from the Guixi Police Station on September 7, 2016. The police ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books. They interrogated her and demanded that she give up Falun Gong.
14. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yang Shizhen Forced to Leave Home
Ms. Yang Shizhen was arrested by officers from the Pengzhou City Police Department and Shengping Town Police Station on August 25, 2016. She was held in the Pengzhou City Detention Center for 15 days. She was forced to leave home to avoid further persecution.
15. [Tianjin] Ms. Zhao Yuehua Imprisoned
Ms. Zhao Yuehua was taken to the Tianjin Women's Prison on August 25, 2016.
16. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Fan Jinping Detained
Ms. Fan Jinping was arrested by officers from the Meixi Police Station on August 30, 2016. She was detained for 15 days. The police confiscated her two bank deposit certificates. Her salary is being withheld.

Ms. Wang Wenjuan and Ms. Liu Fang were arrested on September 11, 2016. They were each given a 15-day detention. They are being held in the Huludao City Detention Center.

Ms. Wang Xiaoqiu was recently arrested and taken to the Xindi Detention Center.
19. [Beijing] Ms. Li Yuqin's Home Ransacked
The police ransacked Ms. Li Yuqin's home on September 5, 2016, and confiscated Falun Gong books and informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.
20. [Luzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhang Lihui Detained
Ms. Zhang Lihui is held in the Anfu Detention Center in Naxi District.
21. [Tianshui City, Gansu Province] Ms. Wang Lixia Arrested
Ms. Wang Lixia was arrested by officers from the Dacheng Police Station on September 7, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong and distributing informational DVDs. The police ransacked her home later in the afternoon and confiscated computers, Falun Gong books, and other personal belongings. She is still being detained.
22. [Shanghai] Ms. You Xiuying Detained
Ms. You Xiuying, 72, was arrested and her home ransacked by officers from the Changshou Road Police Station on August 26, 2016. She is detained in the Putuo District Detention Center.

Ms. Wu Xiurong and Ms. Ning Lanqing were arrested by officers from the Chengbei Police Station on September 13, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police ransacked Ms. Wu's home that afternoon.
Ms. Wu and Ms. Ning are held in the Neijiang City Detention Center.

Six practitioners' homes were ransacked by six officers, including Li Xudong and Lei Lijun, on September 12, 2016. The practitioners are Ms. Ren Huazhen, Ms. Li Nianchun, Ms. He Ruiping, Ms. Li Xiaoyun, Ms. Peng Quanxiang, and Mr. Luo Jichuan.

25. [Jianping County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Yang Jun Harassed
Three officers from the Jianping County Domestic Security Division, including Zhang Lihui, went to Mr. Yang Jun's home on September 7, 2016. They ransacked his home and confiscated his complaint against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the communist regime who initiated the persecution of Falun Gong. They also checked his cell phone. They went to his home the next day to arrest him, but Mr. Yang was not at home.
Mr. Yang Jun returned home on March 16, 2016, after being released from prison where he served a three-and-a-half-year term.

Mr. Lu Chunhua's home was ransacked by five officers from the Longquanyi District Police Station, Chongde Community Police Station, and Community Office on June 3, 2016. They confiscated Falun Gong books and other personal belongings.
They had harassed Mr. Lu's several times in the past.
